There have been many aspects of John Daly’s life that have gotten a lot of attention from the public, sometimes even more so than his golfing achievements themselves. Almost every day, he makes headlines because of his insane lifestyle, love of fast food, and relationship with alcohol and cigarettes, among other things. However, there is another aspect of his personal life that has piqued the interest of many people, and that is his history of relationships.
In his adult life, the 55-year-old has been married to four different women. Despite the fact that he has been associated with many more, he has only made it official with these four. In 1987, he tied the knot with Dale Crafton, a model who came from a well-to-do family in Arkansas. Daly and his wife divorced in 1990, a year before Daly won the PGA Championship, which launched him into the limelight and cemented his place in golf history.
It was in early 1992, a few months after his first divorce, he met Bettye Fulford, with whom he would eventually marry in early 1992. He was charged with third-degree assault after throwing her against a wall in their home a couple of months later. The charges were dropped, however, because the exact circumstances of the incident remained unclear and Bettye did not wish to pursue the matter any further. He married Paulette Dean in 1995, less than a year after the couple had separated from each other.
Despite the fact that it lasted longer than the previous two, this relationship came to an end in 1999. He remained a bachelor for two years, after which he met and married Sherrie Miller. They were married in 2001, and while everyone assumed that their union would last, everything came crashing down in 2007.
Sherrie allegedly came at John with a steak knife one night after the couple became embroiled in a fight in a restaurant, according to reports. While neither the authorities nor the two themselves have confirmed any of the events, Sherrie was sentenced to six months in prison, and the couple, understandably, separated shortly after.
Who’s Daly Married to Now?
Daly met Anna Cladakis in 2007, while still in a relationship with Miller, and the two became fast friends. Daly, on the other hand, didn’t appear to be in a hurry to tie the knot with the fifth woman after all of his previous failed marriages. For more than 15 years, the two have maintained a stable and healthy relationship. They announced their engagement in 2014, though there has been no word on when the wedding will take place.
She is photographed with him and his children on a regular basis, and she regularly carries his bag on the course. Despite the fact that many people do not believe this relationship will last, there have been no controversies surrounding them so far.
How Many Kids Does Daly Have?
John Daly is the father of three children, each of whom has a different wife. He had a daughter named Shynah Hale with his second wife, Bettye, who is 29 years old at the time of this writing. Sierra Lynn Dean, the daughter of Paulette Dean and Daly, was born on June 1, 1995, and is the couple’s only child. John Daly II, also known as Little John, was born on July 23, 2003, to John Daly and Sherrie Miller in Los Angeles. Daly, on the other hand, was awarded custody of his son following their tumultuous divorce. He is a budding golfer, and the two of them will compete in the PNC Championship in 2021.
