JD VS. LITTLE JD - WHO WINS?

JD vs. Little JD – Who Wins?

Being the child of a famous athlete is tough. It’s hard not to try to live in their shadows and become your own person.

Some kids try to emulate their parents like Charlie Woods, Bronny James, and now, little John Daly. That’s right, John Daly’s son is an absolute stick with one heck of a swing, just like his dad.

How good is he?

Really good! In fact, he made the University of Arkansas team as a freshman and is already hitting it past dad.

So who is the longest driving Daly in the family now?

Little John is Hitting Bombs

In true fashion, Little John is hitting it long, just like dad.

He doesn’t leave anything in the tank and in a world where distance is more and more needed, he has plenty of it. He has a long, natural swing that screams power.

When asked how long his son is hitting it these days, John responded with, “Little John flys it 20 yards past me. His 6 iron is my 3 hybrid. He can hit a blade 2 iron 272 on the fly.”

Wow, that is some impressive distance for a freshman in college. Not to mention, who hits a blade 2-iron 272 yards?

Guess I got work to do.

This story sounds like Tiger in the 90s.

But as we all know, distance isn’t everything in the game of golf. You still need to get the ball in the hole.

So who wins now when they play a round together?

Little John Daly – Better Than Dad?

While a good dad always lets his kid win, I think that part of their relationship is over.

Country music star Jake Owen asked Big John, “If you and Little John play 10 times in a row, how many times does he beat you, like straight up?”

John replied, “Oh, if I get fired up, he ain’t beating me.”

Dad is pretty convinced that if push comes to shove, he can always take on his son. But I’m not sure how long that will be the case as little John gets bigger, stronger, and smarter on the course.

Best Duo in Golf?

One thing for sure, they’re a ton of fun to watch. They have the same mannerisms, the same powerful swing, and the same love of entertaining anyone who is tuning in to watch.

Little John had a tough first tournament to start his college career, but I’m sure he’ll turn it around.

Hopefully, we get to see more of the John Daly family at the 2021 PNC Championship. If it’s anything like last year, there should be plenty of amazing entertainment for fans.

If you could make a time machine and have them compete and both were 18 years old, who do you think would win the epic duel?
